In late June, with spot gold under $1200, Mike Paulenoff was asked in his Trading Room if he thought gold was heading down to $1150. He wrote: "Not before it goes up to $1260/80 first."
Mike went on to raise his target on gold to the $1350 area, nearly exactly where it peaked at $1349.31 on July 23.
On July 17, with Bank of America trading at 14.38 on a positive reaction to earnings, Mike wrote: "The most recent up-leg from the June 24 low at 12.13 is alive and well, and points still-higher, as BAC is streaking towards a confrontation with the upper trendline of its year-long bullish channel, now in the vicinity of 15.00."
Bank of America reached an intraday high of 15.03 four sessions later on July 23. Mike's technology sector picks have also been right on the money. On July 11 he called for AAPL to reach declining tops line resistance at 443, which it did two weeks later and flagged there for several days before breaking out.
