A way to participate in the NEXT Bakken?

Dear Reader,

For several years now, I've been writing about what a game changer the Bakken is for the American energy scene. In the September 17 Outside the Box, I wrote:

"I am still thinking through the implications of what I saw on my recent trip to North Dakota. There was just so much positive energy and potential everywhere that it makes you want to come up with ways to transfer that process in every area of the economy. Ironically, if it was up to the federal government as currently comprised, the Bakken oil play wouldn't exist. It is messy and chaotic and not at all capable of being directed by a central planner. In short, it is massively successful, without one dollar of government money funding the individual businesses."

In a nutshell, entrepreneurs armed with breakthrough drilling technologies solved the geological puzzle of the Bakken's "tight rock," and in so doing unlocked billions of barrels of oil.

As you can imagine, in the process a lot of folks have made a lot of money. Which brings me to my reason for writing.

The energy team working for my friends at Casey Research firmly believe they have identified a relatively unknown company sitting on top of what could be the "Next Bakken"-a massive oil formation with every bit as much potential as the original.

Even more exciting for us investors, they are now carefully monitoring developments in this small company that has quietly accumulated 2 million acres in the "Next Bakken".

Any endeavor involving drilling into unproven geology entails the very real potential for disappointment-in fact, as you'll read, the initial drilling into the "Next Bakken" has already seen one delay-but that could be to your advantage. Once I got wind of this story, I thought you'd want to hear about it, too.
