Today's an "Irregulars" day here at Stock Gumshoe, with our new content sent straight to those good folks who help us keep the lights on here on Gumshoe Mountain ... but I have gotten a lot of questions just since last night about this teaser for a stock that's seeing a " surge of insider buying" ( the ad is here if you're curious)
So I thought I should just let you know that it's the same stock Chris Versace has been pitching for months now as the "small cap superstar that Cisco, Verizon and Comcast can't do without" ... and we did cover it for you about two months ago so you can see the great unveiling and discuss the idea here if you like. And yes, I don't know if it will make you rich ... but the insider buying did happen more or less as teased (institutional ownership dipped a lot as insider buying ticked up, just FYI).
Enough for a Friday? OK, have a great weekend! And if you missed yesterday's "best stock", just read on ...
-------advertisement-------- ----------------------------------- The folks at Cabot's Stock of the Month tell us they've found the "best stock in the market across all sectors" to feature as their September recommendation ... and thankfully, they throw out a few clues so we can identify and name the stock for you. It's an interesting pick, maybe it will catch your fancy if you're willing to pay a bit for growth, you can see our explanation here.
P.S. Remember that mistake I admitted about a Casey teaser? Well, their subsequent teasers for this same company let the cat out of the bag -- it wasn't a mistake, they just threw in a red herring in those earlier teasers to throw us off the scent. And while the September 16th news didn't move the stock much, it was noncommital, they're now expecting clearer results on October 15 to possibly drive the stock. You can see that article here, I haven't updated it but I'm taking my mistake back so I can make a new mistake on something else in the future :) |
